Kentucky’s Beverage Industry Provides 4,118 Jobs in the State
In addition to beverage production and distribution jobs, Kentucky’s beverage industry supports numerous other business sectors and their employees throughout the state, all of which benefit from our industry’s economic impact. In fact, more than 12,116 workers in restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, movie theaters and more depend, in part, on beverage sales for their livelihoods.
With a direct economic impact of $2.32 billion, Kentucky’s beverage industry provides $267.48 million in wages and contributes $181.42 million in taxes at the state level and $297.61 million at the federal level.
Kentucky’s beverage industry also generously contributes $4 million to charitable causes across the state.
