The Voice of Kentucky’s Beverage Companies
The Kentucky Beverage Association represents 12 companies and 4,000 employees who produce, market and distribute refreshing, non-alcoholic beverages across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We are your friends and neighbors, who are working to not only support our own families, but to improve and give back to our local communities.
The Association also serves as a liaison for our members between the industry, government and the public, serving as a unified voice in legislative and regulatory matters.
Together, our members bring to market hundreds of brands, flavors and packages, including regular and diet soft drinks, bottled water and water beverages, 100 percent juice and juice drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks and ready-to-drink teas.

Ale-8-One Bottling Company
Ale-8-One soft drink has been bottled in Winchester since 1926 and is the only soft drink invented in Kentucky still in existence. In 2002, the Ale-8-One Bottling Company signed a distribution agreement expanding Ale-8-One’s territory to include 61 counties of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. The Louisville and Cincinnati metro areas were included in this expansion as well as Eastern Kentucky regions of Ashland, Pikeville and Hazard.

It all started when Jack and Kathryn Day moved from Falmouth, KY in 1937 to Corbin to make a line of fruit flavored drinks called Day’s Sparkling Beverages.
